Heaters tucked into tight spaces

Alhambra has a lot of duplexes and small apartment buildings where each unit's heater sits in a hall closet or a laundry nook. Access is tight, so we bring the right tools for a cramped closet.

Owners and managers can send the unit number and a photo of the label, and we take it from there.

Finding the fault

Cold showers, a burner that lights and drops out, water pooling at the base, or a hiss from the top valve. We test the controls, thermocouple, valves and connections to find the real cause.

Flushing and valve work

Sediment settles on the tank floor and makes the heater noisy and slow. We flush it out and replace a drain valve that no longer seals.

Weeping inlet and outlet fittings get new connectors, and a tired relief valve is swapped on the spot when we have a match.

Alhambra questions, answered

Can a tenant be home for the visit instead of the owner?

Yes. Just tell us who will open the door.

My heater makes popping noises. Is that dangerous?

It is usually sediment. A flush often quiets it.
